Hi everyone 

Doobie is set to undergo invasive surgery today.  He has a perineal hernia and enlarged prostate. His organs have fallen into a pocket of a weakened wall and blocked his colon. He was otherwise healthy.  Details will be shown in receipts and estimates. 

This is a financial shock to us on top of what has already been a difficult year due to Covid19. We understand many may not have the means to help at this time, but if you do, any amount helps.

I don't have all the words to explain just how much Doobie means to me. I can tell you that he gave me a reason to come home and a reason to wake up and face the world when I felt like giving up.

When he came into the world I was only a teen and believe it or not - no one wanted to buy a Yorkie with such a long snout and such big ears. (My Landlord was a licenced and reputable breeder). The bond we grew was obvious and it did not take long to convince anyone that he and I needed each other.

It's been a painful yet beautiful 12 years together through our losses and gains. I'm not ready to face life without my best friend. Connor came into our lives in 2013 and we have been a happy little family since. Doobie means everything to us both.
