One of my good friends, Bryan a junior in high school moved to the United States from Africa a few years back. One day recently he was playing soccer with his friends and got elbowed in the eye and was rushed to the ER. he then was told that his eye would heal in a few weeks but to his dismay, when he checked back him his doctor had discovered developed a condition in his eye and needs cataract surgery but his family can not afford it. He is completely unable to see in this eye which due to depth perception makes it very difficult to continue his passion: Soccer. Bryan is one of the nicest people I know, he makes sure that someone is doing okay if they seem blue and makes sure that his peers with special needs feel included, which is why it sucks that this had to happen to him.
