Brooke is a 4-year-old rescued Golden Retriever with an unlimited capacity for snuggles. On November 7th, she was struck by a car and suffered life-threatening injuries, the extent of which are unknown because right now, she's fighting just to stay alive despite massive internal bleeding. Brooke is endlessly loving and energetic, and so far has recovered better than the vets predicted, but she has far to go before she's stable enough to treat any broken bones and other trauma. In the meantime, the amazing doctors, techs, and other staff at Tufts are doing everything they can, and vet bills are piling up. 


Brooke's owner, Stefanie, is a public servant dedicated to bettering her city and beyond by working for environmental protection. She's built her career helping to empower her community to protect their home. Unfortunately, this work does not come with financial bonuses, and Brooke's bills are already substantial.
