Hi, I’m Diane Wolf, one of the owners of the Lobster Shanty. Two of our long-time employees, Sarah “Monkey” and Dale, have a beloved coonhound named Bourbon. She’s a feisty & stubborn hound and we all love her. Bourbon became suddenly ill a few days ago and needed emergency surgery to remove a mass from her abdomen – no word yet from pathology. Her prognosis is guarded, but the vet seems optimistic. Bourbon is in recovery now and is fighting her best fight, giving wags when she can.

Needless to say, emergency veterinary surgery is wicked expensive. Once all is done, their bill will likely be about $18,000! I am creating this GoFundMe to give our community an opportunity to give Bourbon’s humans a bit of financial support. If we all pitch in, I think we can ease their worry.
