Help cover Pax the Bearded Dragon’s medical bills
Donation protected
*final update*
Thank you so much to everyone who donated. Sort of last minute, Pax was able to pass all 18 eggs, with an x ray to confirm that she is now in the clear. This means we have successfully avoided surgery and injury risk! I have edited the goal to reflect the cost of the procedures, if you would still like to donate it is very appreciated
*A happy update*
Pax’s condition has improved quite a bit this afternoon! She is still due to the vet today for her exam, and i am not sure what the care for that will look like, so I am keeping donations open.
Hello all, I’m Tommy, and the little guy you see in these pictures is Pax. Pax (short for Stellar Parallax) is a 2 year old bearded dragon. Unfortunately this month she has become eggbound. Like chickens, female bearded dragons can lay unfertilized eggs, somewhat on a cycle. When these eggs don’t pass, it can be deadly. The only way to effectively treat this is with a spay surgery.
Within the next week or two we are looking at getting her this surgery - the other option is that she dies.
While I am able to pay for it, both my bank account and credit score will suffer. Covering this surgery with no help will also negatively impact my ability to treat my own physical and mental health issues.
Anything helps, if everyone who sees this donates just $5, that would help us reach our goal.
The impact that Pax has had on my life is profound and she has helped me learn so much and get through some very hard times. I don’t know what I would do if I lost her.
Thank you for reading, and if you aren’t able to donate, please share <3 all proceeds of this GoFundMe go towards Pax’s medical bills.
