Help PAWSibilities Animal Rescue Rebuild After Tragic Fire
On the night of Sunday, June 1, 2025, tragedy struck our family at PAWSibilities Animal Rescue.
A devastating fire tore through a barn in Harleysville at our founder's (Sam Carroll's) home — a place that had been a home, a hospital, and a haven for countless animals. Despite the swift and heroic response of emergency services, we heartbreakingly lost many of our beloved animals. These weren’t just animals to us — they were family. They had names, stories, personalities, second chances, and so much love to give. Thankfully, the fire marshal assured us that they didn't suffer due to the nature of the quick moving blaze.
We are gutted, and yet, we are not giving up.
What We Lost
The fire destroyed more than just a building:
- Precious animal lives that we will never forget
- A barn where Sam generously and safely housed rescued farm animals and those in recovery
- Critical supplies, food, bedding, and shelter equipment for our non-profit no-kill animal rescue
- Storage for medical and daily care items
- A space that represented hope, healing, and home for a beloved feral cat colony

- Replace lost supplies, including medicines, and everyday care items for the animals in our care
- Continue providing care to the animals still relying on us every single day

PAWSibilities Animal Rescue is standing strong at our Skippack location, where our adoptable animals are safe, loved, and waiting for forever homes. We welcome the community to come by, volunteer, adopt, or just spend time with the animals. We also have a thrift store at this location where every dollar you spend directly supports our mission!

Our Mission:
Whether sick, injured, stray, or abandoned, PAWSibilities is there to give animals the love and care they deserve. We are a no-kill shelter with a wish to make a difference in the lives of the animals we rescue. We strive to educate the public on the animal overpopulation problem and the importance of spaying and neutering, so more people will realize the benefits of opting to adopt instead of buying a pet. We provide medical attention to the animals in our care, as well as love and companionship. Our animals are like family. We want what is best for them, which means searching hard to find them forever homes.
