Pawsavers is dedicated to rescuing, sheltering, fostering, training, and educating the world about special needs dogs. Our aim is to save lives by showing the world how beautiful these dogs are, and how they can live full, enriched lives, just like any other dog. The last couple of years have been extremely difficult for us. We have survived with your help, and this year our adoptions have taken a slight increase, which is fantastic news! But with adoption increases have come a lot more struggles, and we need help with food (we use 40 lbs a day!) and we need help paying for medical needs and spay neuter surgeries.
- Our specialty is herding breeds, especially double merles who are born with hearing and vision challenges. Often these high drive dogs can struggle even more with a lack of vision or hearing, and difficulties such as OCD behaviors and seizures can plague these breeds. Our goal is to enrich their lives to help them in the best ways possible.
