Help Pavan and his family

It is with heavy heart we are creating this page in support of our dear friend Pavan Edunoori who met with an accident this morning i.e on April 11, 2021 around 3:45 AM on Highway 275 in metro Detroit area. They were just 2 miles away reaching home when this unfortunate incident happened.
Pavan's parents are visiting from India and Pavan along with another friend Swaran has taken them on a trip New York and Washington DC and were returning home when the car ran into small puddle and hydroplaned due to heavy rain and hit the fence causing airbags to deploy. They all thought they were okay and suddenly saw flames coming from below the car.
Pavan had the first burns and ran out to put off fire on himself while Swaran came out of car safely and pulled out Pavan’s mother with the help of his dad who pushed her out although he himself was unable to move. Swaran and Pavan (while rescuing himself from fire) rushed back to rescue Pavan's father but the fire engulfed all around and were unable to pull out Mr. Raja Mogili Edunoori. It was an incident no one would want to go thru seeing one's loved one burning alive. The body is with Wayne county coroner/medical examiner’s office.
Pavan is having more than 35% of burns and had a surgery to his leg yesterday i.e. on April 12, 2021 and today they are grafting skin on the same. This will leave another would elsewhere on the body. His burns are deeper than we initially thought, which may take several weeks for recovery. He is being treated at University of Michigan Trauma & Burns Center, An Arbor, Michigan.
Mother was discharged yesterday after two days of treatment. She is in emotional trauma of seeing her husband burnt to death saving her. Also having son with burns. Their first trip to US has left irreparable scars in their lives.
Pavan did MS here in US and is working on H1 B visa.
A blessing in disguise in Thanking God for saving 3 lives though we lost a precious life of Mr. Raja Mogili Edunoori.
We THANK & SALUTE all dear friends and families both known and unknown who have responded thus far to the call for help and showed their solidarity and generosity.
Indian community always comes together when fellow Indians are in need and hence we set up this page. We still do not estimates of the expenses arsing out of this tragic incident, but whatever help you can lend to our dear friend in this time of distress would be great. We will keep us all posted.
