Update #3
Paul's funeral service was held as planned. His family and friends grieve the big loss. Your prayer, encouragement, and support are a huge help as we all process and imagine life without Paul. Pray for God's grace to be with the immediate family, brothers, sisters, parents, and the extended family and friends.
Many thanks to all who rallied behind him online. The family is grateful to all who participated in the service, both in person and online.
We will leave the GoFundMe account open to those who are just learning about Paul and want to support the family financially.
1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,[d] that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore, encourage one another with these words.
Abundant Blessings!!!

Update#1:
Friends and Family,
I regret to inform you that our beloved brother, Paul, has finished his race on earth. His surgery was done, and we were hoping he would be on his way to recovery. However, the Lord has other plans for him, and he is now in glory.
Now the effort to bring him back home and give him a farewell with his family and friends has begun.
His body will arrive in Addis early next week, and funeral arrangements will be shared soon.
Please see if you can stand with Paul and his family in this difficult time. Share the donation link with friends who shared life with Paul. Thank you to all who donated so far.
Many blessings as you continue to pray for his dear wife and two lovely kids.

Paulos Regassa Bedada is my childhood friend from Debre Zeit, Ethiopia. We grew up together, served in the church choir together, and over the years, I have seen him become a dedicated businessman and talented videographer. Paulos brings creativity and joy to those around him, and he has always been there for his family and friends. Unfortunately, for more than a decade, Paulos has been battling chronic heart problems. His illness has been a constant challenge, but he has faced it with remarkable strength and resilience.
Since Christmas, Paulos’s condition has taken a turn for the worse. After many consultations and medical evaluations, it has become clear that he needs open heart surgery to survive. The procedure will be performed in India, and it is truly his best hope for returning to a normal, healthy life. Without this surgery, Paulos’s future is uncertain, and his family is deeply worried about what lies ahead.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering the cost of Paulos’s surgery and his travel back to Ethiopia after the procedure. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping Paulos get the care he urgently needs. I am reaching out to friends, family, and everyone who knows Paulos in any capacity to come together and support him during this critical time. Your generosity will help give Paulos a second chance at life and allow him to return home to his loved ones. Thank you for your kindness and support.
