I’m raising money for The Genesis Project in Middlesbrough after I saw an ITV News report today about one of their 94-year-old volunteers called Pauline who spends time helping others in need with food and clothing and then goes home to complete darkness because she’s terrified of putting the lights on due to the cost of energy.

That’s it. That’s the long and the short of it. All money raised will be paid directly to the project to be used as they are fit, and if that includes helping Pauline with her bills and then using the rest for their amazing work in the community then so be it.
