My name is Brent Crichton and I am raising funds to rebuild a home for Paulette Samuels in Bethel Town, Jamaica, whose home was completely destroyed by Hurricane Melissa. Paulette has been a dear friend of the Crichton family and caretaker to my Mom for over the past 10 years. This is her story.

My name is Paulette Samuels and I am from Bethel Town in Westmoreland Parish in Jamaica. Recently, my life was turned upside down when Hurricane Melissa tore through my community and completely destroyed my home. I've lost everything - my house, my belongings, and the place that once gave me peace and security.

Right now, I'm trying to rebuild from nothing. It's been a heartbreaking journey, but I refuse to lose hope. I believe that with faith, kindness, and with the help of others, I can rise again. I haven't lost faith in humanity or God - I know that every small act of generosity can make a big difference.

I'm humbly asking for your help to rebuild my home so I don't become permanently homeless. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward materials and labor to rebuild my home as I start over.
