Help Paula Wells fight Stage IV Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Hello Family and Friends:
It is with a heavy heart that we come to you today on behalf of our beloved sister, mother, and friend, Paula (Pauline) Wells of Gray’s, Long Island in the beautiful country of The Bahamas. Paula was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer two weeks ago. Cancer has spread to her brain and other parts of her body, namely, her lungs, lymph nodes, and bones. Because cancer has spread to the brain, she is in urgent need of radiation with chemo to follow. As she has no medical insurance, our family must bear this cost.
Before this diagnosis, Paula was working as a cook at Winter Haven Restaurant, Clarence Town, Long Island. She is one of the best cooks on the Island. She has a heart of gold and would do anything for her family and friends. She is blessed with a beautiful daughter Destiny who recently graduated from high school and is now working to save money to go to college.
Any donation, no matter the amount will go directly to offset the cost of the radiation and chemo she so desperately needs. We need to put $8,000 down to begin radiation, which will cost a total of $16,000 to complete. We are awaiting an estimated cost for chemo.
Paula had to travel to Nassau, Bahamas for treatment. She is currently paying for lodging there while awaiting treatment. Any extra funds donated will be going towards this as well.
We thank you all kindly in advance for any support you may give and may God richly bless each and every one of you. Please pray for Paula and her family at this very sad time in our lives.
The location is set to Florida so that the funds can go to our sister Katie Cartwright who has been by Paula's side from the start of this journey.
We will continue to provide updates as we move along.

Destiny, her daughter, writes:
Mommy has always taken the best care of me through all of the ups and downs. Mommy was known for her cooking. She expressed her love & her passion through cooking. She has one of the biggest hearts I know. Mommy is certainly a person who cares and looks out for her loved ones and ones that she didn’t even know. As Mommy has been cooking for almost 20 years, she’s made numerous friends. Through this time we are keeping in good spirits and so is she. We ask for continued prayers and thank you immensely for anything you contribute to her treatments, money, or prayers. Thank you.
