Help Paula Stay Independent with a New Van
Donation protected
My name is Paula Robinson.
I am 72, and my 1996 van can no longer be repaired.
I drive a scooter that I need to transport in my van because I have had strokes, I have MS, and I have a balance issue. I fall frequently, so I need my scooter to get around. My independence and ability to do things I need to do is threatened by my not having my van. The MS Society bought me my scooter, but they do not have funds to help me with getting a van.
I am also a graduate student at UMD here in Duluth in MATRES-American Indian Studies, so I need to get to the university. I don't get financial aid, and my tuition is $10 per credit because of my age. I am a regular student. I am fulfilling an educational dream, and it keeps me active and around people since I live alone and have no family.
