Paula is my best friend since Elementary School and a former 2003 Shoreham-Wading River graduate. She’s a one of a kind person, who always has your back or is willing to lend a helping hand.

She recently was diagnosed with breast cancer, right after her fiancé Vito suffered a heart attack. Vito is on the mend but now Paula needs us. Cancer comes with so many twists and turns, doctor’s appointments, time off from work, financial burdens, and an overwhelming weight on your shoulders. All while trying to continue to care for your family, which includes a new baby.

As if cancer wasn’t enough, both of the families vehicles died this past month. As you can imagine this has only added to the stress of getting to doctor’s appointments, work, and kids appointments. I am trying to lift some of the weight of the financial burdens on Paula so she can focus on her health and healing.
