Help Paula Save Charlie's Knees

Hello everyone!

We need to help Paula guys! If you guys remember Charlie The Bull Mastiff that I did training for, he needs our help.

Paula, his owner, recently found out that he is going to need knee replacement of both his back knees. It is $9000 a knee, but I’m hoping we can help her at least get started with the first one then we can work on the second one while he is healing.

Her message to me was just heartbreaking, read below:

“I’m thinking that I can’t afford to spend $9000 per leg to fix Charlie. I think I will manage his injuries that have already somewhat stabilized with scar tissue, with pain and inflammation drugs until he no longer can be the dog he would like to be. He would be severely restricted from excess movement which may mean he will get depressed and stop trying. That happened to another of our dogs after being hit by a speeding car. His hip was hurt and we couldn’t afford the necessary surgery. Anyway…I’m very sad.

I do not want to see Charlie suffer because his owner is unable to afford the surgeries. Can we help her out? I’m asking to help with the first surgery and if we’re able to do so, then we can look at the next potential surgery.
