Dear friends, family, and everyone who has had the pleasure to meet Paula. We come with sad news, though with a hopeful heart.
On June 28th, Paula suffered a traumatic accident after falling through the fourth floor of a building (around 40ft). Paula is thankfully alive and conscious, though she got heavily injured from the fall. She has head trauma, a fractured right leg, and a fractured spine. The doctors have already completed surgery on her leg and her head, but have yet to give a full diagnosis after examining her spine and neck. The doctors say she's lucky to be alive after falling from such a terrifying height. The hospital is currently estimating their treatments to be $40,000, but we still don't know the final cost.
Everyone that knows Paula, knows how selfless she is with the people that she loves. She is that friend that you can call when in distress, she would never second guess helping anyone out. Paula's phone was broken in the fall, she doesn't have health insurance, lives by herself, and owns her dog, Donnie. She won't be able to work soon, walk or take care of Donnie so she will need mutual aid to pay off expenses as such. Knowing Paula you know that Donnie means the world to her.
