Help Paula Mendiola and her family

Hello everyone,
I am fundraising for my cousin Paula and her family. Paula was admitted to the hospital on 1/20/22 due to complications from covid 19. She was not getting enough oxygen on her own. She is vaccinated and was on her way to get her booster, but covid found it’s way to her before she got the chance. She took a few step backwards and was intubated on 2/5/22. She is now in a medically induced coma and is on a ventilator. My cousin is a single mom that works hard to care for all her children. She is the main source of income for her two youngest kids. Wyatt is her 17 year old son in her care. Audi is her youngest son. He is 15 and with Down syndrome. They are now in the care of their 2 oldest siblings and their grandma, but the family is struggling financially. I hope to raise money to help them with the bills and get by. I’d like to add that Paula is such an amazing person. She is so willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needs it regardless of her circumstances. She was there for me when my mom was in the hospital. She is someone who can make you laugh and is a great person to talk to. She is inspiring. She overcame kidney disease and a transplant. She was doing so great until she was diagnosed with covid. I’d like to give back and help her and her family get by during this hard time.
UPDATE. Paula’s condition did not improve. She passed away peacefully with family around her on March 3rd at 3PM. She was so loved. Everyone who knew her has great memories with her. The funds will now be directed to helping Paula’s kids pay for her funeral. It’s such a hard time for all of us. Any amount will be appreciated. Don’t forget to share the fundraiser.
