On August 18, 2026, Jorge was driving home from work to enjoy a peaceful evening with his family. A routine license plate check led to him being stopped — and within minutes, the police who pulled him over had contacted ICE. ICE arrived quickly, took Jorge into custody, and transferred him to Pennsylvania where he was forced to sign a form that wasn’t clearly explained and that he wasn’t given a chance to comprehend. He has now been deported back to El Salvador. His deportation has left this family without income, without a loving father, and without the support they relied on every day.

Jorge and his wife, Paula, have three young children:

• 11 year old son

• 6 year old son

• 2 year old daughter
