Supporting Paula Hynes and Her Family

In January 2026, our beautiful friend Paula Hynes received the heartbreaking news that she has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Doctors have indicated a life expectancy of about 14 months.

Paula is a devoted mother to Lee and to her late daughter Ellie. This family has already endured more loss than anyone should ever have to face, and now they are navigating yet another unimaginable challenge.

Despite everything, Paula remains one of the strongest, most positive, and most determined people we know. Her courage and resilience inspire everyone around her. She is currently undergoing grueling chemotherapy while also investing in costly monthly vitamins, herbal supports, and IV vitamin drips and we are looking at extensive treatments abroad. She is fighting with everything she has to stay here with her family for as long as possible.

But this level of care comes with a huge financial burden. Paula had to stop working the day she was diagnosed and is now relying on a sick leave. Much of her savings has already been used to cover essential treatments and everyday expenses.

She is surrounded by an incredible father, sister, brothers, and a close circle of friends who provide constant emotional support — but the financial strain is overwhelming.

We are creating this fundraiser to help ease that pressure. Your support will allow Paula to continue accessing the complementary therapies that help her through treatment to manage day‑to‑day family needs, and — most importantly — focus on making memories and being present with the people she loves.
