Reaching out to all parents and everyone in the skating and medical communities to help an amazing young woman get back to living her life. Paula is a beautiful 24-year-old young woman, who was working as a scrub tech while attending college full-time when her life took a scary turn.

After being bounced around from doctors and emergency rooms, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. She is currently finishing up her 12 rounds of chemotherapy and also has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.

In addition to expenses to preserve her ability to become a mother, treatments for neuropathic side effects from chemo, transportation, and hospital costs, she has over $45,000 in expenses. More importantly, she has been unable to work full-time during treatment and will lose insurance in October. Due to Medicaid requirements, she will not qualify.

Paula and her family would never ask for or expect help from others, but I’m hoping people will shower her with love, prayers, and some financial help so this young girl can move forward in her life and continue to use her gifts to serve her community.

Paula’s mother is a dear friend and the skating dress designer for Dayumma Jones. She works nonstop to make kids and adults feel confident and beautiful doing what they love. She does more than sew garments—she fills people with confidence and makes them want to stay in the skating community. Community and confidence are desperately needed in our children’s lives.

Paula will need close follow-up, expensive monitoring, and more treatments (IVF) to live the full life we all want for our children! Please help this family, as they are continually helping others!
