Hi everyone,

This is Paula Kuhn. I'm reaching out because I'm at an extremely difficult time in my life that I need your help. If you know me, you'll know how difficult this is for me to do. All my life, I've been the person everyone went to when they needed something but now I am in need.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and uterus cancer both in February 2026. I've already used up whatever savings I had on medical costs not covered by insurance, medications and lots of personal items needed for what I'm going through.

I'm a lifelong resident of the area. After I retired about a year and half ago I worked part-time and also did craft shows making my candy bouquets to bring in extra money to help financially survive. Now I obviously can't do that. I've been single most of my adult life and have done what I can to survive. Unfortunately all I'm doing now is trying to kick cancers butt!!

I would never be asking others help financially unless absolutely necessary. It's that time now.

When you live alone, there's a lot of outside help needed with cooking, cleaning, errands, driving, etc.

My personal financial goal is set at $12,000. If you can help no matter what amount, please know it will be greatly appreciated. It will make this emotional and physical journey just a little lighter on my mind.
