Many of you know me because I have taught public speaking or stand up comedy to your kids!
Covid hit my daughter and I hard. I lost all my in-school speaking contracts in 2020 and pivoted Head Start Public Speaking for Kids to online classes while we were dealing with a serious family illness.
Head Start IS rebuilding and online classes are successful! I believe that once enough people know about it, not only will I be able to take care of my family but other speaking teachers will be able to use the model for themselves! In the meantime, we need help!
I received CRB but Revenue Canada asked for additional documentation which I sent but have not received any funds in 2 months while I wait for them to decide if I am legit. My landlord posted an eviction notice on Feb. 2 because Feb rent has not been paid yet. I am kind of freaked out! Can you please help us out?
Rent is $1400 plus utilities. I am asking for enough for 3 months because I don't know when/if the CRB funds will come and I need to advertise so that I can bring Head Start back to where it was and beyond!
