Hi!

My name is Paula Chacón, and I am a 18-year-old singer from Veracruz, Mexico. I auditioned for A Cappella Academy, a 10-day vocal camp held in Los Angeles. Only the top 13% are admitted, so when I was officially accepted, I was extremely grateful and excited to embark on this journey alongside less than 100 other vocalists.

Since then, I have had the incredible opportunity to attend A Cappella Academy, not just once, but twice. Each experience has deeply shaped me as both a musician and a person. It has pushed me beyond my limits, strengthened my discipline, and allowed me to connect with extraordinarily talented people from around the world who share the same passion for music as me.

Going back for a third time is now one of my biggest goals. A Cappella Academy is not just a camp to me anymore; it has become a space where I grow, learn, and truly feel inspired. The level of artistry, collaboration, cultural diversity, and creativity is something I have not found anywhere else. I simply feel loved and appreciated by all of the people.

That is why I am reaching out. Tuition for the camp is $2,956.13 (not including airfare from Mexico to Los Angeles). Attending again would mean the world to me, but unfortunately, it represents a financial challenge for my family, who are not in a position to cover these expenses.
