Last February, after celebrating 46 years of marriage, Paula and Tony received the heartbreaking news that Paula has been diagnosed with a rare, aggressive, and incurable cancer known as Signac Ring Carcinoma in her intestines and bowel. Paula, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, faced this battle with unwavering strength and courage. She underwent surgery, endured grueling rounds of chemotherapy, and faced other health challenges and hospitalizations along the way. Unfortunately, Paula's fight against cancer is nearing its end, as she is currently under hospice care. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, putting pressure on her heart and leading to heart failure.
Throughout this difficult journey, Tony has remained by Paula's side, offering unwavering support and love. As Paula's battle reaches its conclusion, there is an opportunity for us to honor her remarkable spirit.
