Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out on behalf of Paul Colston, who has recently endured a life-altering medical emergency. What started as a severe infection secondary to living with difficult-to-manage diabetes quickly escalated, leading to unimaginable challenges. Despite the best efforts of his medical teams, this infection forced doctors to amputate his right leg just below the knee and all toes on his left foot.

Paul is a fighter—resilient, optimistic, and determined to reclaim his mobility and independence. But this road to recovery is long, and the next crucial step as he enters rehab is getting a prosthetic leg. Unfortunately, prosthetics can be incredibly expensive, and due to a recent job change pushed upon him due to his chronic health issues, Paul is without help from insurance. With the help of his family, he is in the process of applying for different resources available to him, but it is a slow process. That’s why we’re turning to our community for support.
