Hello everyone,

Many of you know our wonderful Paul as the spirited, loving Chihuahua co-face of our 'Paul and Thor' brand. He is a tiny dog with the biggest heart and an even bigger spirit, bringing joy to us every single day.

This week, he proved he is also the bravest dog we have ever known.

On Thursday, 25th September, while they were out for a walk, a much larger dog launched a sudden attack. In an incredible act of loyalty and courage, our tiny Paul didn't run. He stood his ground to protect his best friend and gentle giant, his Labrador brother Thor.

He is a true hero. Paul took the full force of the attack, and while Thor was thankfully unharmed, Paul suffered devastating injuries. We rushed him to the veterinary hospital, where he was immediately taken into emergency surgery.

We are so incredibly grateful to the entire team at Mount Vets. They have worked tirelessly and have been so supportive through this nightmare. Thanks to their incredible surgical work, Paul's leg was saved, but his fight is far from over. He is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery, requiring intensive aftercare, medication, and potentially further treatments.

As you can imagine, this life-saving care comes at a significant cost. The initial estimate for his surgery and immediate care is already projected to be over £5,000.

We have created this fundraiser because we desperately need your help to give our little hero the fighting chance he deserves. We want to provide him with everything he needs to heal, run, and live the full, happy life he had before his brave sacrifice.

Every single pound donated will go directly towards Paul's vet bills. Any amount, no matter how small, makes a monumental difference.
