Help Paul Save His Home and Reboot His Career

I am paul mosier, the author of the muddle-grade novels TRAIN I RIDE, ECHO’s SISTER, SUMMER AND JULY and others, snd i am hoping to reboot my career and save our beloved home as i emerge from prolonged grief after the loss to cancer of our younger daughter Harmony at age 9. I lost my gig as a socially responsible investment advisor when i couldn’t meet production requirements, which was made more difficult during Harmony’s 30 month , 2.1 million cancer fight. My literary agent broke up with me 8 months after Harmony’s last breath because she feared i would never be happy, snd i broke ip with harpercollins because i feared she was right. i kept writing, though i didn’t know why, and worked as an emergency certification teacher, sold paintings, worked as a substitute teacher, helped a friend with his startup, delivered food, snd have driven passengers for uber the last 2 years, which has spawned a grief memoir from the POV of an uber driver’s seat, which i am 12k words into. i am now training for a new position in the financial world, which figures to meet our needs, but my rental car for uber was recently deactivated because, even though i am still driving 7 days per week, i am training 5 days per week and the rental, which needs to meet uber’s standards, is exorbitant (430)wk. we have fallen 4 months behind on our mortgage for our 98 year old home, and i am currently pleading with them to give us more time for my pay to increase with my new job. training is wrapping up and my wish is to continue driving for uber as i work my new job. meanwhile i sm bumming rides from my wife and harmony’s big sister,, or orordering an Uber myself, which cannot continue with my new gig. i was recently diagnosed as non-celiac gluten intolerant, which contributed to my depression, brain fog, joint pain, snd a host of other ailments. Happily, unlike my type one diabetes and hashimotos hypothyroidism, there is no wxpense to treat it , just avoiding wheat like the poison it is for my body. that’s good news because we no longer have health insurance due to the newly unaffordable(for us care act. have a modest licensing expense to cover but my wardrobe is ready to go and so am i. i am hoping to raise a couple thousand so i can drive again and at least make some money while ramping up with my new position. our mortgage is very reasonable st 800 per month but we are 4500 behind. there are certainly people in worse situations than we are, but they probably looked like us on their way down. Our community supported us greatly during Harmony’s cancer fight, snd i can’t help but feel this is the aftermath of that. I am hoping for help in getting a reset on my ability to provide for our family, snd any help savingwhat is likely our only chance at owning a home, is greatly appreciated. i won’t claim that i havent made decisions that proved unwise, but my decisions were those of a man who who was only sticking around to save his remaining family from further grief. Thank you!
