On March 18, 2018 Paul suffered a traumatic brain injury after a fall from his balcony. Paul has been in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit since he was taken in for an emergency Craniectomy. In addition to the brain injury, Paul has also suffered skull and facial fractures, a broken clavicle, scapula, and rib, along with bruised lungs. Paul's injuries are requiring constant 1 on 1 attention in the NICU. Long term recovery will require an extended stay in the ICU, and extensive therapy for many months. Paul's immediate family has been staying in Seattle since the 18th, and will need to be staying for some time while he recovers.
