Help Paul Panzera Fight Cancer

Dear friends,

Paul Panzera needs our help!  As many of you know, Paul was diagnosed with cancer late last year and is currently undergoing his first rounds of chemo and radiation.  

Paul is a fixture in the Grandview community. Born in Italy and arriving in central Ohio as a young boy, Paul has been a devoted member of the Grandview area his entire life.   Not knowing a word of English, he picked up his first kitchen gig at the age of 7 at Tedeschi's Italian Bakery and opened his very own restaurant in nearby Worthington at just 16 years old.  He decided to move the restaurant to a small location on 3rd Avenue but it grew to become a Grandview favorite and needed a much bigger space and in 1978, the restaurant moved to its current 5th Ave location.  Paul served on the Grandview school board for 26 years, coached the football team, provided meals to those in need, and is known for his selfless acts of charity towards family, friends, employees, and strangers.
