Help Paul Morris Fight Leukemia (Blood Cancer)
Donation protected
Paul Morris is an energetic father of two who was struck with a wicked blood cancer. August 22nd. was a day of heartbreak for our family. It was the day we received the news that Paul was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia which is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow with excess immature white blood cells. This has devastated our family as this is a very aggressive form of cancer which destroys the immune system.
My name is James O'Halloran. I am Paul's older brother. We lost our mom to cancer when she was only 55 years old. That was the hardest thing I have had to face in my life. I now have to face it once again now that cancer is attacking my brother. Paul will be 54 on October 26th. and is fighting for his life. He's far too young to have to fight this battle and I'm trying to help my brother in any way I can. He needs a stem cell transplant and I was not a match. That truly broke my heart. I encourage everyone to go to your local blood bank and donate. If you're not a match for my brother, you could save someone else's life.
Paul is a disabled Navy veteran that proudly served his country. Anyone that knows Paul knows that he would go out of his way to help anyone and everyone. He has a heart of gold. I am starting this Go Fund Me account to help him pay for medical expenses and transport to and from the cancer treatment clinic three times per week. Paul has already run up a substantial bill after 5 weeks in the hospital. He has undergone two rounds of chemo, blood transfusions, antibiotic treatments and various other treatments. He’s currently at home with a very compromised immune system. He will continue with chemo and transfusions at least until a stem cell (bone marrow) donor is found.
A donation of any amount and prayers for Paul would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
James O’Halloran
