Paul Martinez was a loving father, supportive son and brother, and a loyal friend to all. He was a 1988 graduate from Manzano High School, then went on to achieve a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in 1993. While at UNM, he was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity and had numerous business ventures over the years that acquired lifelong friendships along the way. Recently, Paul was a realtor in NM and CA, and ran his own agency.

Paul "Sumo”, loved his daughter Emma, his dog Joey, the beach, Conchas lake, music, his forever friends, food, and family. He loved life and lived every day to the fullest. To those who knew him, our lives were forever touched and blessed to have shared in his light.

Unfortunately, our light was dimmed last Wednesday, April 21st, as Paul lost his courageous battle with cancer. The loss has been devastating to all that knew and loved him. We are asking for your support, any donation you’re able to provide, to help his family with expenses during this heartbreaking time. Thank you to all who have reached out to the family with their condolences and memories of Paul. Your love and support has provided great comfort to them.
