Help Paul Lift in Dubai in 2023

Hi, my name is Paul Tesoriero I am a Para Powerlifter who lives with Cerebral Palsy.

The sport is bench press event where you complete a one rep max lift in competition.

I started when I was sixteen years old and have loved the sport for twenty years. I have represented Australia at International Events, including the World Championships in Mexico in 2017.

After suffering physically and mentally during Covid and its lockdowns, I returned to training and earlier this year did a Personal Best of 145kg in competition

In August this year I am hoping to return to the world stage and compete in the 2023 Para Powerlifting Champs in Dubai.

My long term goal is the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the Paralympics.

I am setting up this page to try and assist me to raise funds so I can get myself over there. Flights, accommodation, comp fees aren’t covered with it being self funded excerise which makes it very challenging for me.
