My name is Brooke Johnson I am making this GoFundMe for my homeless friend Paul who I meet a few weeks ago in Venice Beach.
I made a TikTok about trying to sell one of the boards he painted and unfortunately, there are a lot of trolls on the internet who are not committing to their bid and bailed out and never paid.

Many of you have asked for a GoFundMe so here it is fam.
About Paul
Paul has been doing art all his life and has been homeless for most of it. He has been sober for several years now. Most recently he quit smoking cigarettes. He has been sober from most all substances for several years now. He really wants to get off the street given he doesn’t feel safe.
Where is the money going?
The reason we are trying to raise $10,000 is to first help paul find a safe place to live, he is currently living on the street and sleeping on cardboard with a tarp in Venice beach.
You might be thinking what the heck are they going to do with $10,000 dollars.
The first goal of this project is to get Paul off the streets. In order to do that we will need at least a few months' rent for him to get a place here in LA. This will potentially cover 4-6 months of his rent.
The second goal of this project is to help Paul build a sustainable business. At the current moment, he is lacking an online store and any resources that could help him build anything to scale. We will be helping him build a business around his art by connecting him to mentors and other companies that work with artists on eCommerce platforms.
As we know building anything alone is difficult especially if you are not around like-minded people. With that, we are working with the local Venice art community to help introduce him to individuals that have similar goals and passions.
Our goal is not to give money to Paul our goal is to help him build something sustainable.
