Help Paul Find Safety and Comfort After Heartbreaking Loss

My name is Wendi, and I’m reaching out on behalf of someone who means the world to me — Paul Temple, my grandfather not by birth, but by choice and by love.

Paul is 88 years old and recently experienced an unimaginable loss. His beloved wife of 64 years passed away suddenly after what looked like a hopeful recovery from a broken hip. She was up and walking, with a care plan in place to return home. Then, without warning, complications from pneumonia took her life.

Now Paul is facing this heartbreaking new chapter alone — and without the ability to safely or financially remain in the home they once shared. We’re working as quickly as possible to move him into a local assisted living community where he’ll have the care and support he needs, but the upfront costs are staggering.

We’re hoping to raise money to help cover this urgent transition. While Paul does own a small home, selling it will take time — time and resources that we simply don’t have right now.

Paul has always been humble, kind, and devoted to those around him. Now, we’re asking for help on his behalf.
