Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my stepdad, Paul Massey — a man who has carried unimaginable pain and still kept showing up for his family.

Paul is currently in critical condition. His heart is functioning at just 10%, and he’s on a ventilator fighting for his life in the ICU. He’s surrounded by machines, tubes, and uncertainty — and our family is just praying for more time with him.

Paul has faced more than most. Five years ago, he lost his son Brandon, and he’s never truly been the same. His heart has carried so much grief… and now, it’s physically failing too. But even through all of it, he’s kept going. He’s been the steady hand in our family, the one who’d give the shirt off his back for someone else — even when his own world was breaking.

Now, we need help to support Paul in the fight of his life.

We’re raising funds for:

• Emergency medical and ICU costs

• Ventilator and life-support care

• Family lodging and travel while staying near the hospital
