Help Paul Evans Kick Cancer In The Ass!
Donation protected
Folks,
Paul & Alysha Evans and their family (two and four-legged) need a helping hand. Paul was diagnosed with cancer last spring and is currently at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in Seattle receiving treatment. He will spend the majority of the summer receiving intensive radiation and chemotherapy. Once these treatments are complete Paul will then undergo a graft/bone marrow transplant. During transplant treatment he will need to live within 30 minutes of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Center and receive 24/7 care.
As most friends know, Paul & Alysha are longtime employees at the Whatcom Humane Society. Paul is the manager of the animal control & rescue department and Alysha manages the WHS wildlife rehabilitation center. They are friends, advocates and heroes to the animals in our community, big and small, wild, domestic and farm. They share their Whatcom County home with two young daughters and many lucky companion animals.
Travel back and forth to Seattle, ongoing hospital care, relocation for several months during bone marrow transplant treatment is costly and insurance does not cover everything. Add the cost of gas, child care, pet care, additional medications and more and the Evans Family could use some community support.
Paul & Alysha are the kind of people who have spent their adult lives caring for others - they never hesitate to go above and beyond to help a friend or family member in need - and now it's our turn to offer them some assistance.
Please consider supporting this fundraiser and Help Paul Kick Cancer In The Ass so he and Alysha and their family can get back to living life to the fullest.
Thank you.
