Paul Beckwith, well-known climate system scientist/physicist/engineer and educator, has been studying climate change and extreme weather for over ten years.

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Paul is a climate system scientist. He is a respected creator of entertaining and comprehensible videos, usually pertaining to climate science, abrupt climate change, meteorology, oceanography and Earth Sciences. He has taught at the University of Ottawa and is often asked by concerned citizens and government officials to speak at conferences and events, and has participated in panel discussions. He has participated in numerous panel discussions at six UN climate conferences, where he also interviewed scientists and activists. Paul has often been interviewed as a guest on various radio and podcast programs.

Paul has been creating and publishing videos pertaining to the climate crisis on his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@PaulHBeckwith) for over ten years. He is very passionate about educating the public regarding all aspects of our climate emergency. He studies the latest climate science papers and reports, as well as extreme weather events, presenting the various topics in his videos in order that the public can be more knowledgeable with respect to climate phenomena.
