Hi, my name is Daniel. I am Paul Brown's son. On the morning of 14 October 2022 Paul woke to find ankle-deep water from the Goulburn River at his doorstep. He managed to save his car and trailer in a quick exit. But with barely any warning from authorities to evacuate, he had no time to return and collect his belongings, even down to a pair of shoes.

His acre block consisted of 2 caravans, a shed full of tools and a toilet/laundry block on stilts. All of which is completely underwater and ruined. This property has been in the family since 1989 and has been a place of much joy over the years. Paul has welcomed many visitors to come and stay and enjoy the beautiful country lifestyle (even if you did short out his electricity haha).

At 77 years of age, he is not physically equipped to rebuild everything he had before on his own. This fund aims to help him establish somewhere to live again and give him a glimmer of hope for the future once the waters recede.
