Note From Tammy: (Paul's Wife)
As all of you know, I have lost the love of my life, my best friend, and my heart, Paul Ashley.
He passed away, peacefully in his sleep. I know God called his name and He answered, but right now, I do not have an earthly reason.
I wish I could give everyone more information, but I don't have the answer myself. Because Paul passed away far from home, there have been some complications beyond my control and understanding. We will be having a memorial service for Paul. We are trying to make arrangements, but it will still be several days before we can finalize everything.
Many of you are far away and want to come, so when I know the final details, I will post and notify everyone.
Paul had a great love for his family, pipeline family, and friends. Each and everyone of us has suffered a great loss in Paul's passing. I want to thank everyone for being so thoughtful, kind, and good to me and my family. Please continue to pray for us.
As you know, Paul was kind and Gentle, no matter how big he was. He would give you the shirt off his back, his last dollar, or By GOD, he'd stay with you. So you weren't alone.
God has called him up sooner than any of us expected. All that know him, know all he wanted was to take care of his family. Eventually, we all want to hang it up and go home.
As Pipeliners, this is our call to duty. One of our own, didn't get to make it home. Not for a weekend to see his kids or for one last "Cowboy " Date with his wife.
Let's ensure he gets home and we help his Family, who will be impacted for years to come.
