Help Paul and Teresa recover after a devastating house fire

This fundraiser is established by Teresa’s sister and family in Ontario and Quebec to help Teresa and Paul get through an emergency crisis and the loss of essentially all their belongings and the roof over their heads. On July 18, 2024 Paul and Teresa were home in their backyard hosting Paul’s parents who arrived a day earlier for a visit from the UK as well as Teresa’s daughter Hayley, when they noticed black smoke coming from the basement tenants apartment. Even with the best efforts of the fire fighters the house was damaged and Paul and Teresa were forced out of their rental home into a hotel. All their belongings (including Paul’s parent’s luggage) have been smoke damaged and forever lost. This fire made worse with already bad situation as Paul two weeks earlier broke four ribs in a fall and is presently not able to work. Teri is off work for the summer from her job as an Education Assistant for children with special needs with the Foothills School Division.
