Hi, friends, Miriam here. Back in August of this year, my husband Paul was put on unpaid medical leave. That medical issue has since been resolved, but the economy being what it is, he is still jobless, as his place of employment has no work for him. He's applying for jobs daily, but again, the economy being what it is, no one is biting. Our funds are now stretched beyond thin, and while I would love to say that we can prevail over these difficult odds, the fact that I'm using this site proves otherwise.

In order to stay in our apartment and pay bills for next month, along with food for ourselves and Kerowyn (our cat), we'll need about $3000. I know right now is incredibly difficult for all of us--especially financially--so any help that any of you can give would be beyond what I could hope for, even if it's just passing along the word that we need help to others.
