From Paul Palmer...

"Hello, My wife's name is Kathleen Palmer she is 58 years old from La Habra California. In 2010 we found out she had a cancer tumor on her tongue size of a half golf ball. They cut her tongue down the middle and removed what they could, We then did 45 days of radiation and chemo. Fast foward to April 4, 2023 we found out it came back due to all the radiation from before, cancer of the eesophagus, which meant they had to remove her voice box and her lymph nodes. Surgery was on May 15 of this year, she had a 13 hour surgery and was under for 26 hours if you could imagine. She is still in ICU at Kaiser of Anaheim recovering. Its hard to make enough money to pay for our bills but i'm still going to work everyday, seeing her in the morning and in the evening everyday. She is improving but a long way to go. She has over 150 staples from ear to ear. Thank you all for the help."

Hello from the Kapko family, We have put this gofundme together for Paul and Kathleen Palmer to help raise money for medical bills and any other bills they have. As all may know Paul is a member of district 37 and BITD we are reaching out to all family and friends of the district and others. Paul is still working as much as he can but medical bills can be overwhelming and stressful along with everyday bills. Paul will be taking care of Kathleen most of the time after she is able to come home. We are hoping to relieve some of the worries of medical and household bills to be able to bring some piece of mind. Thank you to all and many for your help and support.
