My name is Paul Nixon. On May 1, 2024, my lovely wife Francesca suffered a tragic accident. Having been thrown from her spooked horse, she suffered 17 broken ribs, a punctured lung, broken collar bone, broken shoulder and shoulder blade, and fractured vertebrae. In addition to this, the artery that feeds her brain with oxygen is damaged. The impact from being thrown from her horse, caused her to land on her frontal lobe at high speed. The velocity of the impact caused her brain to sheer above the brain stem. This has had such a devastating impact on me, and my daughter, Ana Claire, that will last a lifetime. Francesca was my soul mate, the love of my life, and my best friend. I now fear that in losing her, I may lose the home we have lovingly built. 12 days in the ICU with 24-hour intensive care, and funeral arrangements will all put a strain on my future here. This is the last thing I would ever consider, but given the position I am in now; with the continued expenses I am left with, without the support of my loving soulmate and her contribution, I place myself at your mercy. I can see that the impact of her injuries has caused so many emotions reflecting on the love she exhibited. She was a true light in this time of darkness. Her love for those who were disabled or disowned, she embraced them and invited them into our home. We have celebrated Christmas and holidays on many occasions, bringing people into our home and fulfilling something they never dreamed of. This was Francesca and her zest for life, in fulfilling the wishes of so many who needed help. That, she always provided. Francesca will benefit so many donors in the future with the hospital wanting to recognize her as a heroine, providing life to so many recipients. Francesca's legacy will benefit so many despairing families in need. She is a true human angel.
