Help Patunia's Recover
My name is Monica, and I am the owner/operator of Patunia's Food Truck in Henry County GA. Like many other companies, I suffered great losses due to Covid last year, and have not been able to financially recover, no matter how hard I try. Unfortunately, my business was too new for any Covid relief programs, so I secured absolutely zero federal or state funds. Since reopening, I have been able to overcome the many obstacles thrown at me, with the help of some of the most selfless friends I have ever known. I am truly grateful for their time and all of the help they have been able to provide, but unfortunately I am still struggling to keep up with the cost of repairs, losses due to inclement weather and other nuances the universe throws my way.
I started Patunia's as a way to provide for my family when I left my full time job 6 years ago. All I want is to be successful enough so they can live a comfortable, modest life that I did not get to experience growing up. More and more lately, it seems this dream may not come to life, as I can no longer afford to self-fund this venture. Right now, the truck is parked indefinitely, until I can afford an engine rebuild/replacement.
Growing up with next to nothing, I am accustomed to living my life in survival mode, and I'm not accustomed to asking for help. But, alas, I am desperate. I need help. So, I am asking for it humbly. I need help to pull myself out of survival mode. I need the truck operational, so I can continue to grow the company to be what I know it can become. A modest small business who treats people well, engages in the community and helps anyone who needs it. Will you help me gain some solid ground?
