Help Patty through her Breast cancer recovery

Hello family and friends,

I hope everyone was able to enjoy their holidays and spend it with their loved ones.

I’m posting today to share some upsetting news that we have all been dealing with-my sister, Patricia Maher Mejia, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be having an extensive surgery early tomorrow morning and will be out of work for quite some time afterwards. In addition to that, her husband, Guido, will be taking quite a bit of time of work off to help her through the recovery process.

We would ask that everyone please say prayers for their family to help them through this challenging situation. Some who already know about this have asked if they can help monetarily, so I have started this GoFundMe for those of you who would like to donate to ease the financial burden for the Mejia family, while they navigate through these next few months. Whether it be donations, prayers or both-we all really appreciate the support. Patty has had a difficult last year or so with 5 heart procedures to get her heart rhythm issues under control, and finally the fifth one seems to have done the trick for the most part. This diagnosis has shocked us all, and we can use all of the prayers and support we can get.

Although we don’t have our parents here to see us through this, they always taught us to rally around our loved ones when they are in need and that is exactly what we will do. Please keep Patty and her family in your prayers. Thank you for your time and support.
