Help Patty Siple Overcome Breast Cancer

Hello,

My name is Michelle Fitzgerald, and I'm putting together this fundraiser in hopes of raising enough funds to help financially support my mom, Patty Siple, through treatment for Breast Cancer.

On September 5th, my mom was informed by her GP that her mammogram came back with positive cancer results. She was then officially diagnosed with aggressive stage I t1cno breast cancer by an oncologist. Next week, she will be on the road to getting set up for chemo and radiation treatments. That means a CT scan, an MRI, an echocardiogram, and a port placement. It was mentioned that at some point she will have to undergo surgery to have the lump and other cancerous cells removed. Plus, she will also have to take special medication for 5 years. This is a lot of stress and fear for a 60-year-old type 2 diabetic that struggles with existing medical debt to be put through.

My mom has always been a pillar of unconditional love and support. She has been the backbone and heart of our family for what seems to feel like forever, and despite going through some tough and traumatic situations throughout her life, it has never stopped her from being a kind person and a light of joy in our lives. She's hard working and never wants to feel like she's a burden to others, so I can imagine how hard this all must be for her to be convinced by me to reach out to others for help. As her daughter, I just want to save my mom, I am willing to do anything and use any resource that's out there to see to it that she gets to live out the rest of her life cancer free and with no worries about medical debit. I know for a fact that she would do the same for myself, my siblings, my dad or anyone else in her life that's dear to her if roles were reversed and honestly she's the best mom ever and deserves only the best.
