Patty Balde has always been a caring friend and a devoted dog owner, living in a camper on her brother’s property with her two beloved dogs, Bella and Charlie. On the morning of April 28th, 2026, Patty left her dogs in the camper with the heater on while she went inside the house to babysit her nephews. Tragically, the camper caught fire before anyone noticed. Patty rushed to save her dogs, but was met by flames. Charlie managed to escape, but Bella did not, leaving Patty with a loss that is felt deeply in her heart and at the foot of her bed.

Patty is a craft vendor who creates beautiful resin items, beaded keychains, and jewelry. While her finished products were safely stored in her truck, all her equipment and supplies for making more were destroyed in the fire. She also lost her clothing, dog bedding, money, and everything else she owned. Patty is unable to work due to health issues, so all her funds come from selling her crafts while waiting for a decision on her Social Security Disability claim. The devastation has left Patty with nothing but the clothes she was wearing and the support of those around her.

Every little bit helps to get Patty back on her feet. It will take a lot longer for her heart to heal, but we can help by supporting her.
