Patty Hyatt is an amazing mother, Omie, and friend. She is a retired public school teacher who put her heart and soul into educating her students. She continues that passion working part-time at a private school in town. She has worked hard her whole life for everything she has and even in the aftermath of losing all of her belongings, she is still smiling and trying to help others. My mom, Patty, lost her home to the flood in Kerrville, TX in the early morning hours on July 4th. She was able to get out with my nephew, her puppy dog and the clothes on her back. She lost everything she owned.
She had made a happy home for her kids, grandkids, other family, and friends. Everyone loves going to Omie's house and she almost always has some of her 5 grandkids and/or family and friends stopping by to chat. She worked so hard to make her home a welcoming and loving space for everyone.
My mom is the most loving and kind person I know. She always goes above and beyond to help anyone in need and I would like to return the favor. She is cherished in her community and we are all hoping to help her rebuild.
If you can, please help us to replace as many items as we can for her and recreate the home she so deserves.
Thank you all and please continue to pray for our community!
