Help Me Escape Unsafe Housing, Recover My Health, and Bring My Daughter Home

Hi, my name is Patty, and I’m asking for help to get my family out of an unsafe home.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been living with sewage odors, plumbing issues, and unhealthy conditions that made me severely sick. I relied on FMLA throughout 2025 until it ran out on February 15, 2026 — and I lost my job.

On March 16, 2026, I was diagnosed with a parasitic infection. After I stopped drinking the tap water, I finally started to improve — but by then, everything had already fallen apart.

Why this matters

My 7-year-old daughter cannot safely live with me


Her father has asked her not to return, and I had to agree


My 66-year-old mother is still being exposed


We are now facing eviction (court June 4th)


Even if back rent is paid, this home is not safe — we have to leave.
