Help Patty, Chris & Baby Tory

Donation protected
Patty & Chris Schneider need a miracle and your support.

Patty & Chris met in high school on April 9, 2001 at 9:37 am (according to Chris lol). 11 years later, they were wed.

After years of trying unsuccessfully to conceive, and multiple miscarriages, this year Patty & Chris finally got the good news they'd been praying for: they were pregnant!

Patty's Facebook announcement on Feb 14 read"

"It is with extremely full hearts & a ton of joy that we can officially share our big news! This journey has been a roller coaster of emotions & heartache but with IVF our little miracle happened ❤️ We have laughed a lot, cried countless tears, & grown closer together as we prayed & patiently waited. Blessed to have this amazing man & our supportive family & friends by our side every step of the way. We have met so many wonderful people through this journey & we thank everyone endlessly for all the love & support. We are so thankful & very blessed. God is so good

❤️ Baby Schneider due August 2020 ❤️"

But just recently, at only 22 weeks into the pregnancy, the placenta ruptured, sending Patty to the Emergency Room where she was later admitted. She and Chris have been at the hospital ever since, anxiously waiting and hoping that her body will support Baby Tory long enough to allow her to develop some more to increase her chance of survival.

Patty's most recent update on April 28 read:

"To everyone who has kept us in their thoughts & prayers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. In a lot of moments of weakness, those encouraging words have been some of the only things we have held onto the most. It gives us hope & lifts our spirits. Thank you to everyone who has been sending meals, doordash gifts, cards and flowers, it means so much, and we are so grateful for the generosity.

We considered today a good day. The bleeding is still present, but it’s not as heavy. The dilation has not changed, & the water sac is still stable, no fluids are leaking.

There are possible hurdles we will be facing as we move into the days ahead. The medicine that I’m on helps with stabilizing dilation & contractions are coming to an end tonight. We will be monitoring Tory’s heartbeat to make sure it does not drop.

Depending on if we have changes, & what changes occur, the Maternal Fetal Medicine Team has one more medicine up itsq254 sleeve if the right situation presents itself. They are wonderful, and although we have gone over different plans to help give her the best chance if things start to go unexpected, we will only be 23 weeks on Thursday--we are still very early. We need to stay here as long as we can to allow her to keep growing until we get further along. The longer we are here, the better chance she will have to survive.

At times, the unknown has broken us down into gut-wrenching tears. We know that God is working, & we believe that your prayers are working, he’s already done so much. We just want to ask that if you please have it in your heart to continue to pray for us, we need every.single.one as we blindly move forward. We are trusting, & we are leaning into him.

Love,
Peanut, Patty & Tory"

Money raised will help provide Chris & Patty with the support they need to weather this challenging and uncertain time.

No one should have to worry about how they're going to survive financially while they're in a battle for their child's life.
